Coney Island West in Catalina Island

Had a nice burger from them, unexpectaly well done with extra toppings for free. Also had onion rings as well. Food was a good cheaper choice from alot of the pricier places on the island. The burger was $6 bucks and onion rings 4.50. So if your looking for decent food at a down to earth price range, coney island west will do. They take your name and call your name to pick up your order, a nice personal touch.

Great place, great burger

Cute and quaint lil spot on the island. Right on the main boardwalk with sea views. Nice variety of popular breakfast and lunch option offerings. I didn't have anything, but my guy had the burger and fries which smelled and looked yummy, per him it was quite tasty. I was planning on coming back for the shrimp and fries, but time didn't allow. Something to look forward to. I certainly will be returning with extra family in tow.

If you see this little place, get a table and eat fish and chips! One of the best fish and chips ive ever have!! Chili soup was pretty good too. It was very affordable too!

As if a burger joint hidden in a small corner of an island that serves their burgers on wheat buns wouldn't be one of the most delicious burgers you've had in a long time. Lol pffff

This is one of the few places on Catalina Island that offers a meat-free option.

When we first arrived on the Island my kids (6 and twins 3) were tired from traveling and starving so we look for something quick and easy. Coney Island West was the closest thing to fast food on the island (I mean that as a compliment). We got burgers, fish and chips, hot dogs with chili, and fries. Everything was really good...the chili especially. It was priced great...ended up eating here again for lunch with my girls because it was perfect. Cash only

Howdy folks, just want to give a five star shout out to all of you there. That is the best double bacon cheeseburger I have had for from a real simple burger stand. Well made well tasting and love the wheat bun. Probably the best meal had while visiting Catalina Island. Oh yeah I’m a Pitmaster and it was guuud! Don’t change a thing keep it simple and keep making those darn great burgers.

Whenever I'm in Catalina this is where I eat. Very good food at very good prices. Especially for Catalina. Dubble cheese burger and fries are my thing there. Very jucey. Five stars.

They have very good hamburgers and cheese fries. The fish and chips are also pretty good. They only take cash CASH only so don't go without money

no kidding, the best made bacon cheeseburger I ever had from a burger shack, it really took us by surprise it was that good. on top of this, this place is the best priced food on the island by a mile. Service was quick and friendly, fries were perfectly crisp, and excellent execution on the burgers here. we will definitely come back anytime we are in the area.

We had cheeseburgers, they were very tasty! They weren't overly expensive, which was nice. I like that they use unique buns.

For it being on such a beautiful and popular island, this was absolutely thee worst garbage they called food ever experienced! I now know that Catalina is in desperate need of a real gourmet burger joint, and this is anything but.

Probably the cheapest eat in Avalon..everything is charged individually (no meals). $2.50 for a 16oz bottle of water. Food was not bad. Chilli cheese fries are pretty good (and I dont like chilli cheese fries). Yhe five of is got different burgers and my fat self tasted it all and i would eat there again. About $40 for 5 burgers and 1 order of chilli cheese fries.

Quick and Good. Cheeseburger and Fries, pretty basic lunch. Food was hit, well cooked and as good as most Cheeseburgers I've had in tourist areas. Portions were large. Good Value for the $ Would have given 5 Stars but due to Covid-19 there was only takeout; really not their fault.I'll definitely give them another chance with patio seating on our next trip to Avalon.

The food is delicious, quick, and probably one of the cheapest locations on the island to get a bite to eat. The only flaw of this establishment is that they only take cash. I won't take away a "star" because of that, as I'm sure that is part of the reason they can sell their food cheaper than most other restaurants on the island

Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, this is some of the best food in Avalon for a very reasonable price. The service is fast and there are always plenty of nice table to sit and enjoy the view from.
